MarriageThomas H. Dunaway married Frances Johnson on 11 December 1835 in Polk County, Missouri.1 
AnecdoteIt is said that between 1845 and 1847 Thomas moved his family to Texas and returned as a widower with only two or three of his children still living. No one knows what happened in Texas to cause this sad event.1 
MarriageThomas H. Dunaway married Catherine Harris Justice, daughter of Thomas Edward Justice III and Sarah Yarborough, on 17 May 1847 in Missouri.1 
DeathThomas H. Dunaway died on 25 July 1887 in Polk County, Missouri, at age 74 years, 11 months and 28 days.
